JERA Global Markets Pte. Ltd. (JERAGM) is proud to announce our very first carbon-Neutral* LNG delivery into India.  The cargo was sourced from a liquefaction facility in Das Island, the strategic hub for Abu Dhabi’s oil and gas industry, owned and operated by Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company Ltd. (ADNOC LNG).  This initiative shows not only the further expansion of JERAGM’s global LNG optimisation business, but also enhances its efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by producing and delivering carbon-neutral fuel to its counter-parties and final consumers.

In line with JERA Co., Inc.’s strategy to enhance the transition to a clean energy economy, JERAGM aims to provide cutting-edge local solutions to the world’s energy challenges.

*United Nations certified emissions reductions (CERs) from Indian renewable electricity projects will be used to offset the emissions generated by the downstream use of LNG in India.  The amount of carbon dioxide equivalent to that associated with the production and transportation of LNG was not part of this carbon off-set initiative.
